The audio piece "Garten der Klänge" is an acoustic journey through ancient Chinese gardens. Like a scroll painting without a real centre, these gardens often consist of a bewildering variety of different courtyards, halls, terraces and galleries. Each individual location has its own specific function. Like Chinese garden art, this audio piece also works with a limited number of elements.
The oscillation between opposites and the sensually perceptible interweaving of these layers of sound are perceived as a chain of acoustic miniatures. Again and again, the "view" narrows, only to promise new "enchantments" in the fleeting emergence of things.
